lab book is a web-based Laboratory Information and Management System (LIMS) designed to meet the real-world needs of modern laboratories. Originally developed for the renowned solar research center ISC Konstanz, lab book has since then been continuously enhanced.
Through the BMWK-funded projects FlexFab and FlexFab2, lab book has evolved from a specialized planning tool into a powerful all-in-one lab management system. Today, it plays a key role at ISC Konstanz in the flexible and efficient development and production of various solar cell and module types.
Thanks to its modular structure and customizable features, lab book can be tailored to fit the workflows and requirements of a wide range of industries – from research labs to industrial production environments.
